Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q1: Do you offer free samples?

Yes. You can order a free sample of Luma Clayridge Oak Chevron LVT to see its Classic Brown Oak colour, texture and finish in your own home before placing your full flooring order.

Q2: What is chevron flooring?

Chevron flooring is a classic parquet design featuring planks arranged to create a continuous V-shaped pattern. Unlike traditional herringbone flooring, where rectangular planks meet at staggered right angles, chevron flooring creates a more continuous, symmetrical geometric appearance.

Q3: What colour is Luma Clayridge Oak?

Luma Clayridge Oak features a beautiful Classic Brown Oak finish, combining rich brown tones with natural oak-inspired colouring and realistic wood-grain detailing. Its warm, timeless appearance complements traditional, rustic, heritage-inspired and contemporary interiors.

Q4: Is this flooring suitable for underfloor heating?

Yes. Luma Clayridge Oak Chevron Glue Down LVT is compatible with underfloor heating when installed according to the flooring manufacturer's and heating system's guidelines.

Q5: Can this flooring be installed in kitchens and bathrooms?

The product is specified as suitable for all rooms, including kitchens and bathrooms. Installation in moisture-prone areas should use a suitable adhesive and properly prepared subfloor, following the manufacturer's guidance.

Q6: How is Luma Clayridge Oak Chevron LVT installed?

This flooring uses a glue-down installation method. Individual chevron planks are bonded directly to a smooth, clean, dry and level subfloor using a suitable LVT adhesive.

It is not a floating or click-lock flooring system. Professional installation is recommended to achieve accurate alignment of the chevron pattern.

Q7: What size are the chevron planks?

Each plank measures 158mm x 710mm, creating an elegant chevron parquet pattern that adds depth, movement and character to your interior.

Q8: How much flooring does each pack cover?

Each pack provides 3.37m² of flooring coverage. We recommend allowing approximately 10–15% additional material for cutting and wastage, depending on the room layout and installation pattern.

Q9: Is this flooring suitable for commercial use?

Luma Clayridge Oak features a heavy-duty 0.7mm wear layer and includes a 15-year commercial warranty, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms and the intended commercial application.
